About Us - SRQ Fishing Tackle was founded by outdoorsmen who enjoy freshwater and saltwater fishing throughout the state of Florida and beyond. Growing up on the central west coast of Florida we concentrate on inshore, nearshore and offshore fishing from Tampa Bay southward to Charlotte Harbor. Our favorite target species include Snook, Redfish, Trout and Pompano inshore; while nearshore we target Kingfish, Bonita, Triple Tail, Cobia and Snapper; finally, offshore we have vast experience with Grouper, Snapper, Blackfin Tuna and more! Our online tackle business started in 2007 as Angler Systems Inc. and we have now reformed as SRQ Fishing Tackle LLC as of January 2018. We look forward to increasing both our product base and our loyal customer base while moving into this next phase of online fishing tackle sales.

Policies -

Incorrect Product:

It is very rare that you will receive an incorrect product; we double-check all orders before we ship them. However, if we made a mistake/error in shipping (it does rarely happen), please notify us within 2 business days of receiving your order and do not use the wrong item. Upon occasion with soft plastics, we can substitute similar colors without further notice. This is done as manufactures often change or discontinue color patterns with notice. 

 

Shipping Damages:

For standard carrier shipments (i.e.; US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, etc.), we must have been notified (by phone or email) of any damage (or other problems) and have been provided with any and all additional information within 2 business days of you receiving your products.  At time of delivery, if the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier, and let us know immediately; or please make sure when signing the shipper's proof-of-delivery slip (on deliveries requiring a signature), you include a note stating the package is or appears to be damaged. If you do not notify us about the damages within 2 days of receiving the product, we can not file the damages as a shipping issue. This we result in you becoming responsible for the damages and costs to fix the product.

Restocking/Cancellationn Fee:

 

All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order or if we shipped for free this amount will be deducted. Product must be in its original condition and unused. Any orders cancelled after 12 hours from the time of purchase may be subject to the same 10% restock fee, no exceptions. 

Major defects:

 

Although all the products new, unexpected errors may occur. Such issues must be submitted for our approval. We keep the right to rectify the error or defect within 5 days.

Product not-as-described:

 

Such issues should be reported to us within 2 days of receiving the product. Clear evidence must be provided proving that the purchased product is not as it is described on the website. Complaints which are based merely on the customer’s false expectations or wishes are not honored. Upon occasion with soft plastics, we can substitute similar colors without further notice. This is done as manufactures often change or discontinue color patterns with notice. 

Processing time:

 

We typically ship within 2 to 9 business days. If there is a delay beyond 7 days, we will email you details.
